American guard Ray-Sean Taylor (185-G, college: SIUE) was the top scorer of the day in the world with the 51 points he had in the British league. Taylor graduated from Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville last year. His excellent performance made his team the Newcastle Eagles beat the Scorchers 99 to 72. He also added 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals that evening. Taylor is the 4th best scorer in the league averaging almost 18 points and almost 5 rebounds per game. Among many awards his college team won the OVC Tournament and he was selected to the All Tournament Team in 2025. He was also selected as the All OVC Player of the Year in 2025.
